Golden Glow: Sun Balm is a rich, mineral-based balm made with grass-fed tallow, organic oils, and non-nano zinc oxide to help shield your skin from the elements. This glow-getting formula creates a gentle physical barrier that reflects harsh rays—helping to minimize burning and moisture loss during sun exposure.

Infused with skin-loving ingredients like coconut oil, olive oil, and castor oil, it hydrates deeply while offering natural support for your skin’s defenses. Whether you're gardening, beach-wandering, or chasing little feet outside, this balm is your sunshine sidekick.

Ingredients:

Tallow: locally sourced, 100% grass fed and finished. Antioxidant-rich, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial properties, high vitamin content (especially A, D, E and K) helps collagen production, noncomedogenic, soothes injuries, and promotes faster skin healing.

Beeswax: locally sourced, beeswax can create a protective barrier while acting as a natural humectant that locks in hydration for the skin. Also acts as an emollient product to soften and soothe skin.

Coconut Oil: Coconut oil can be soothing to surface inflammation, while also keeping skin moisturized. It carries antimicrobial and healing properties to promote healing of the skin.

Organic Koroneiki Olive Oil: Olive oil was chosen to compliment the tallow in this product due to its extremely gentle, yet moisturizing properties. Packed with vitamins and natural fats, olive oil helps the skin hold moisture while providing antioxidants for healing along with anti-aging effects. For this batch, the Koroneiki derivative of olive oil was chosen and infused with calendula flowers before product creation.

Non-nano Zinc Oxide: non-comedogenic and naturally UVA and UVB blocking. It works by reflecting and scattering UV rays. Non-nano zinc has larger particles that lay atop the skin creating a physical barrier, and are less easily absorbed into the skin. Zinc oxide can help the skin heal faster if burned, can help dry excess oil, and it naturally reduces inflammation that can lead to breakouts.

Organic Castor Oil: Rich in ricinoleic acid, this oil helps to repair and strengthen the skin barrier, while also calming redness and irritation. Acting as a humectant, castor oil helps to lock in moisture to the skin and promotes collagen and elastin production.

The True Whip is wonderful! It is so moisturizing without being heavy or occlusive, I thought it might cause breakouts, but my face is clear! It’s a daily morning and nighttime moisturizer now, especially calming now that I am swimming in a heavily chlorinated pool 2x a week. I love all the ingredients. Great product!

True Whip - Unscented

I have LOVED using the balm and scrub. In typical mom fashion, I only ordered the unscented balm for ------'s eczema (which I already knew it would work well for, so yay for that). But it was such a treat to try the lavender balm and scrub for myself with your samples!I have always had cracked, bleeding hands in the winter since I was a kid and I've tried everything. Putting the body balm on my hands closes those cuts faster than anything, it's amazing. My hands feel much happier.I've also always had acne-prone skin and get in these vicious cycles of putting on acne medicine that leaves my skin peeling. The combination of the scrub and balm on those spots was incredible. It cleared up so quickly, and I was nervous about breaking out but haven't had any issues!I'm excited to keep trying your products for more applications/uses!
